Movie Schedule
The total run time of all 3 extended editions is around 11hrs and 20m. Allowing 15m between movies brings the total time to about 12 hours. Our event will run from 8am to 8pm.
List of meals & times
- 08:00 am – breakfast
- 10:00 am – second breakfast
- 12:00 pm – elevenses
- 02:00 pm – luncheon
- 04:00 pm – afternoon tea
- 06:00 pm – dinner
- 08:00 pm – supper
After supper we may play some games, sit around and talk, drink some ale, or enjoy some Longbottom Leaf or Old Toby (bring your pipe) out on the back patio.

Are you having another one one coming soon and WHERE does this event take place and HOW MUCH does it cost.

We do this every year on the Saturday nearest Tolkien’s birthday. Our next one will fall on December 31st 2011 (New Year’s Eve). We do the event at our home in Austin and it doesn’t cost a dime for guests. Instead of charging our guest, we ask them to bring to the party (or make online) a donation to the Capital Area Food Bank.
We also try to encourage and provide resources for people to throw this type of event on their own and raise money for their local food bank.
